Meet Our Team in South Loop, Chicago, IL

Dr. Maggie Sharpe
Dr. Maggie Sharpe has been passionate about animals and their care for as long as she can remember. Throughout her life she has worked with many types of animals, and even spent some time working with dairy cattle, horses, and llamas! Dr. Sharpe studied at Purdue University for both her undergraduate and doctorate degree. Prior to her time at Partners Animal Hospital, she spent several years working as an emergency veterinarian at a specialty hospital. During her time in emergency medicine, she found that many everyday emergencies can be prevented with routine annual care and education. Dr. Sharpe is passionate about providing the best medical care for your pets. She strives to communicate clearly, and to include you and your family in every decision made regarding your pet’s health.
Dr. Sharpe has a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Frank. She and Frank like to explore the city one patio at a time. She enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending as much time as possible with her loved ones.

Jackie Sheppard Practice Manager
Jackie's love of animals began at a young age. At 4 years old, she learned how to ride a horse. In high school, she volunteered at an animal hospital and learned a lot about the veterinary field.
Jackie received her BA in Technical Journalism from Colorado State University. After moving to Chicago and completing a couple internships, she decided to go back to school. Jackie then received her MA in Sports Administration from Northwestern University.
While in graduate school, Jackie worked at an animal hospital in Lincoln Square, which reignited her passion for the veterinary industry. After her time there, she worked as a Client Care Coordinator for two other animal hospitals in the Lakeview neighborhood.
Outside of work, Jackie enjoys going to Cubs games, watching sports, working out, and traveling. She has a Shepherd/Shiba mix named Crash Davis, and they both love exploring the city.
